You Choose Your SentenceAbby
You now get to choose how long your sentence should be. One year, two years or life. Should I just have chronic fatigue, or should I get cancer and go out with a bang to let everyone know that I have suffered greatly for my sins? Why play these self-abuse games, even for a short time? This will depress you emotionally as well as physically, through your immune system. The definition of sin is to miss the mark. Learn from your mistakes (sins), for that’s all they are. I’m going to make a bunch today, and enjoy every one of them. Learn from them and know that success is just around the next corner. Live life big! Take risks and embrace failure with forgiveness and compassion for yourself and everyone else; for this is the way to truly set yourself free. A Minister once said, “Get off the cross, love and forgive yourself, for love heals everything and you are perfect already.” There are also those that unknowingly play the role of the victim. They use their sickness on a subconscious level for attention and control to get the love they feel is being kept from them.
This can become a sickness in itself. If you find this situation among your family or friends, help them to find the courage inside themselves to be all they can be through exercising love and compassion. For in the end, all answers lie within. There are also those who use sickness as an excuse to not move forward in life. This occurs due to the fear of failure or feeling that one is a failure (lie). It is important to understand that there cannot be significant growth without mistakes and failures. Often, those who have had the greatest successes have also had the greatest failures. What an amazing movie this will be! Let’s call this one an adventure and name it, ‘How I Took a Risk and Won’.
